 A few of the improvements we’ve made over the years to successfully achieve this was by increasing the durometer rating (hardness of the rubber) on the outer circumference of the rubber track, but maintained the tracks flexibility by using a slightly lower durometer rating for the inner circumference. We’ve also beefed up the track carcass and tread lugs to help improve traction and mobility. A lot of research and testing went into the synthetic formula used in the production of our Komatsu rubber tracks. By using all natural rubber mixed with our special formulated synthetics we’ve been able to produce a rubber track that is not only affordable, but has the lowest operating cost per hour when installed and maintained correctly.
